Discover the natural and cultural richness of Arikok National Park, a treasure in the heart of Aruba.
The park is open every day from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The main entrance is in San Fuego, Santa Cruz, with access by car. We recommend checking updates on its official website or calling +297 585 1234 before your visit.
General admission costs $20 USD for adults and $10 USD for children (ages 6-17). It includes access to Conchi (the Natural Pool), caves, and trails. You can buy tickets online (here) to avoid lines.
3-4 hours are recommended to visit the must-see spots: Conchi, Quadiriki Cave, gold mine ruins, and viewpoints. If you plan to do extensive hiking, set aside half a day.
It protects 18% of the island's territory, preserving unique ecosystems such as coastal desert and dry forest. It is home to archaeological remains of the Arawak people and old colonial plantations.
December to April is high season (better temperatures), but it is more crowded. To avoid crowds and extreme heat, visit early in the morning or between October and November when the landscape is greener.
Partially accessible. The visitor center and areas such as Conchi have paved paths, but many routes are on uneven terrain. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended for full access. Check accessible tour options on their website.
Nearby you will find: • Barcadera (2 km - water equipment rentals) • Alto Vista Chapel (historic chapel) • Santa Cruz district with its colorful street art. More info at Aruba Tourism.
1) Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes for rocky trails. 2) Bring at least 2 liters of water per person. 3) Apply sunscreen every 2 hours (areas without shade). 4) Download offline maps: mobile signal is limited inside the park.
