The church is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., although it is recommended to confirm during high season by calling the Purmamarca municipal office (+54 388 497-0045). It is easily reached on foot from July 9 Square; use Google Maps for precise directions.

Admission is completely free, as it is an active church and a cultural heritage site. No tickets are required, only respect for the place during Masses or religious events.

It is recommended to allow between 30 and 45 minutes for a full visit, including the exterior with its white frontispiece and the Andean Baroque interior. If you go with a guide, it may extend to an hour.

Built in 1756, it is an icon of Jujuy's Andean Baroque, dedicated to Saint Rose of Lima, and notable for its leaning bell tower and cardón cactus wood roofs. It represents the blend of colonial and Indigenous traditions and is a National Historic Monument. More info at Jujuy Tourism.

Sunrise or sunset offers magical views with the colors of the Hill of Seven Colors; March-April or September-October are ideal to avoid rain and crowds. Avoid midday because of the intense highland sun.

The main entrance has a few steps, making it partially accessible; there are no full ramps or elevators. Contact the municipal office for assistance or choose an exterior visit if necessary.
