It is recommended to set aside between 2 and 4 hours to explore the main trails, waterfalls, and viewpoints at a relaxed pace. If you do a longer trek, the visit could extend to half a day.

Created in 2005 as a private reserve to preserve the biodiversity of the Ongamira Valley, it protects native species and unique mountain ecosystems in Córdoba Province. It is a key refuge for birds and endemic flora, promoting responsible ecotourism.

Spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) are ideal thanks to the mild weather and colorful scenery; avoid midday in summer because of the heat. Early mornings offer better light for photos and fewer visitors.
