As a public beach, it is open 24 hours a day, although lifeguard services are usually active from 08:00 to 19:00 during the high season. To get there, the best option is by car or taxi from Jijel following the coastal national road. You can see the exact location on the map here.

Access to the beach itself is completely free for all visitors. However, please note that nearby supervised parking and the rental of umbrellas or tables usually have a small extra cost, payable in cash on site.

We recommend spending at least half a day here, around 4 or 5 hours, to fully enjoy the sun and crystal-clear water at a relaxed pace. If you can, stay until late afternoon, as the sunsets in this part of the Mediterranean are truly spectacular.

The beach is named after Sidi Abdelaziz, a local marabout, or revered holy figure, in the region, which gives the area spiritual and historical significance. It is a fundamental part of the famous Jijel Corniche, known for its wild beauty and its connection to local Berber culture.

The best months are June or September to avoid the large crowds of August while still enjoying perfect weather. We suggest arriving early in the morning, before 10:00, to find good parking and the best spot on the sand.

Access from the parking area is relatively flat, but as it is a natural sandy beach, moving in a wheelchair to the shoreline can be difficult without assistance. It is advisable to go with a companion and check with local staff whether accessible entry areas are available that day.

You are very close to the famous Wonderful Cave, a must-see filled with stalactites. You can also visit Jijel port to enjoy fresh fish in the local restaurants.

Always carry cash (dinars), as most kiosks and beach vendors do not accept cards. Also, the coastal road can become heavily congested at sunset, so plan your return with extra time.
