From March to May and September to October (mild weather, fewer tourists). The ideal times are before 11:00 AM or after 3:00 PM to avoid the school groups that are common in the middle of the day.
Only the ground floor is accessible (70% of the exhibition). Contact (+213) 27 22 54 31 to request portable ramps. Accessible restrooms are available next to the main entrance.
We recommend: 1) the Roman ruins of Tamentfoust (35 km), 2) the annual cultural festival of Milouda (in April), and 3) Karoussa Waterfalls. Check routes in the regional guide.
