Borsh Beach is a public beach, so it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can get there by private car or by public transport (buses) from Saranda or Vlora. Good news! Access to Borsh Beach is completely free, as it is a public beach. There are no entrance fees. However, if you want to rent umbrellas and sun loungers, some private beach establishments will charge a fee.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you just want a quick swim and a walk, a couple of hours are enough. But if you come to relax, sunbathe, and enjoy the atmosphere, we recommend spending at least half a day or even a full day to enjoy its crystal-clear waters and tranquility.

Although Borsh Beach is mainly known for its natural beauty and refreshing waters, it is part of the Albanian Riviera, a region with a rich history shaped by Greek, Roman, and Ottoman influences. While the beach itself does not have monumental historical significance, its location near historic villages and the Fortress of Sopot (set on a nearby hill) suggests a strong connection to the region's vibrant past.

The best time to visit is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is warm and the sea is perfect for swimming. However, to avoid crowds, we recommend visiting early in the morning (before 10:00 AM) or late in the afternoon (after 4:00 PM). The sunsets at Borsh Beach are spectacular and an ideal time to enjoy its beauty.

Access to the sand at Borsh Beach can be a bit challenging for people with reduced mobility, as it does not have specific infrastructure such as adapted walkways in all areas. However, some restaurant and beach bar areas near the shore may offer easier access to their terraces. It is recommended to contact local establishments for more detailed information.

There is plenty to explore! Near Borsh, you can visit the majestic Borsh Castle, also known as Sopot Castle, which offers stunning panoramic views. A short distance away, you will also find the Borsh Waterfalls, a perfect spot for a picnic. In addition, the coastal road will take you to other spectacular beaches on the Albanian Riviera, such as Himara or Saranda, and historic sites like Butrint National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Absolutely! We advise bringing sunscreen and a hat, as the sun can be very intense. If you plan to spend the day, consider bringing your own supplies or exploring the local restaurants and beach bars that offer fresh fish. Also, do not forget your camera to capture the sunsets and the stunning beauty of the place. And most importantly, relax and enjoy paradise!
