There is usually a small vehicle entry fee at the access barrier (around 100-200 LEK, about 1-2 euros), which helps with maintenance of the area. Access to the castle ruins and the church is generally included in this fee or requires an additional symbolic charge.

Ideally, set aside 2 to 3 hours to walk at a relaxed pace from the parking area to the castle, visit St. Anthony's Church, and enjoy the sea views. If you plan to have a picnic or swim, consider spending half a day.

This place is historically important because it is home to Rodoni Castle, built by Skanderbeg in 1463 as a sea outlet and defense against the Ottomans. You will also find St. Anthony's Church, a cultural monument of great architectural and spiritual value.

Spring and early autumn are ideal to avoid oppressive heat during the walk to the castle. Without a doubt, the best time of day is at sunset, when the views of the sun setting over the Adriatic are spectacular.

Unfortunately, accessibility is limited; the terrain is uneven, and reaching the castle requires walking along dirt paths and beach sections that are not suitable for wheelchairs. Caution is recommended for visitors with mobility difficulties.

Very close by is Lalëz Bay, famous for its long sandy beaches and tourist facilities. You can also take the opportunity to visit the city of Durrës, which is about an hour away by car.

Wear comfortable, closed shoes for the walk (avoid flip-flops on the trail), bring enough water and some food, as dining options on the cape itself are limited. Do not forget to bring cash (lek) to pay the vehicle entry fee.
