We recommend allowing 30 to 45 minutes to explore the ruins at a relaxed pace. Although the complex has great historical value, it is relatively small. It is ideal to combine the visit with other nearby attractions such as Tepelenë Castle for a half-day excursion.

These 19th-century thermal baths were built by Ali Pasha of Tepelenë, the famous Albanian Ottoman governor known as "the Lion of Ioannina." They are a unique testimony to Ottoman bath architecture and its hydraulic system, showing the strategic importance of Tepelenë at that time.

The ideal season is from April to June and from September to October, when temperatures are mild (18–25°C). Summer is very hot (it can exceed 35°C), and winter rains can make access more difficult. If you go in July or August, visit early in the morning.

Access presents some difficulties: there is uneven ground and steps in the ruins. There is no wheelchair-accessible infrastructure. Sturdy sports shoes with good grip are recommended. People with limited mobility should go with a companion to move around the older areas.
