Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Rrëshen is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with extended hours on weekends for Mass. It is easy to reach on foot from Rrëshen's central square; use Google Maps for precise directions.

Admission is completely free, as in most Catholic cathedrals in Albania. Donations are welcome for the upkeep of the church.

About 30 to 45 minutes is recommended to explore the interior, the altars, and the architecture. If you attend Mass, allow an extra hour.

Built between 1998 and 2003, it is the first Catholic cathedral erected in Albania after the fall of communism, dedicated to Saint Nicholas. It represents the rebirth of the Catholic faith in the north of the country, and its modern design blends traditional Albanian elements.

Spring (April to June) or autumn (September to October) are ideal because of the mild weather; avoid the snowy winter. Go early in the morning for perfect natural light and fewer tourists.
