This site is essential because it contains the famous inscription about the conversion of the Bulgarian ruler Boris I to Christianity. It is a key testimony to Early Christian and Byzantine architecture in the Balkans, historically known as the seat of Glavenica.

You should not miss the Bylis Archaeological Park, which is very close and is one of the most important sites in Albania. Combining both visits will give you a complete view of the region's ancient history in a single day.

Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, as you will be walking on natural terrain and ruins. Also, make sure to bring water and sun protection, as there are no service shops directly inside the archaeological area.
